We start in autumn of 2002 and end in summer of 2001. Lots of good bands came to Tucson. Like Le Tigre in a hotel parking lot! Gosh I do miss seeing American Analog Set when they toured regularly.

We start in spring of 2003 and end in autumn of 2002. Lots of good bands came to Tucson. Like Mates of State, Rainer Maria, and Milemarker, all in one show! I returned from a NW trip just in time to see Sleater-Kinney and The Quails!

We start in autumn of 2003 and end in spring of 2003…the time when bands like Erase Errata and Ex Models ruled the road and stopped in Tucson regularly…Calvin Johnson, All Girl Summer Band, and The Thermals came to Arizona in the same warm week, what a wonderful time to be alive!

It’s a very special episode I’ve been planning for a very long time…Kitty Covers! All covers. No originals! Emphasis on punk rock and/or ridiculous takes on popular songs, plus a few venerable punk/indie bands getting a deserving tribute.

Good show if I don't say so myself.  Got attacked by an internet pop-up ad toward the end, though.  It was ugly.

For this show we wanted to showcase one of our favorite queer bands, MEN (featuring JD Samson from Le Tigre), and the release of their debut album, TALK ABOUT BODY. After that was some hip-hop in honor of Phallic Baldwin and her love of "Throw Some D's On It".

The Meow Mix hits 50! Episodes! To celebrate, I do a mirror universe version of my typical format. Instead of playing records from bands I’ve seen live, I devote an entire show to bands I’ve never seen live! From long-ago bands that I missed my chance to see, to modern and reuniting bands that I can still hold out hope for, this episode coves the bands I long to see in front of me.
