Tonight was our EXTRA LONG + HARD edition of Butt Pirate Radio as we covered for Justin Dowd and the Justin Dowd Xperience from 8-9PM, in addition to our regular BPR. It was A LOT OF BUTT PIRATE and we hope you enjoyed the jamz as much as we did! There was a lot of dedications going out to all of our single lady friends doin' it for themselves right now. beautiful music- lotsa ladies, some old favs from the 90s. the usual angry rants. i think more girls should start bands. put down the video game controller and go do something for somebody. read some emma goldman on anarchy, thinking about what anarchy means cuz it is NOT chaos.

A shorter list today because I had special guests from Greece talking about what's been happening over there. Also a talk about Black Bloc tactic used in Vancouver by Harsha Walia(as part of a bigger debate).

This week I went back to the vinyl as I played tracks from bands I’ve seen recently and previewed some who are coming to Tucson in the near future. The bulk of the show covered live bands I saw in late 2006, most from out of town but some dearly missed Tucson bands from that period as well.

Lotsa Andy Warhol/Velvet Underground-related stuff in celebration of all the Andy Warhol exhibits and activities here in Tucson this weekend. Also an "originals set" of obscure(r) songs made famous by their covers. And an, um, "Popcorn" set. For some reason.

Today was a fun show, despite only being broadcast after half the show was over. :/

A few hip-hop gems to get us going, followed by more metal and punk.
