Whoa! Amazing show! Guest DJ Lez Lemmon from Butt Pirate Radio (Wednesdays 9-11) was in the booth to lend insight and commentary on tonights Heavy Flow Show; we talked about some issues with Feminism and talked about the different waves and a little bit about personal identity in an at-times ill- or un-defined movement. i moved away from tucson and now i live in kentucky, i recorded this show before i left az. it's full of a bunch of random stuff- a short story by oscar wilde, awesome music, mumia abu jamal on racism in arizona, chomsky on anarchy, emma goldman on violence, thoughts on violence in activism, violence committed by the state, also talked about prison and how ridiculous it is that those who are free can forget about those who are caged. hopefully it's not my last show, but it might be awhile. email me at tornadoalley@riseup.net if you feel so inclined.

As a result of an archiving snafu, some of the beginning of the show got trimmed off. Just the first song and part of the second, though. The rest sounds good. I rant for awhile about conservatives talking about saving tax money and then throwing their support behind massive military build-ups and expenditures, a rant inspired by something I see on Wednesday mornings. Other than that, music plays.

WOW!!! This show was a real long sputtering rant against some random LiveJournal page I found online while googleing stuff. WOW, internet, you make me mad. Now, listen to me talk about lots of issues I have with pushing false identities onto people, also some movie reviews (Saved and Quinceanera) and speculation on the ages of Mary and Joesph when Baby Jesus was born and some more ranting against this crazy LiveJournal lady!!! Oh yeah and a whole bunch of music by ladies and actually a few applicable tracks by men in there too... Sorry ladies, I'll try to keep it clean next week ;P !!!

Playing fight songs for the rally against SB1070, and enlightening the downtrodden way better than Bob Avakian ever could by explaining the contemporary american class landscape through the classic Coen Bros. film, The Big Lebowski. 

The only thing I really talk about on this one is the movie "Winter's Bone", and a little bit about a band called Cranial Decomposition from Washington state. I play a song of theirs called "Nuclear Waste", which was one of their better ones. A pretty good lineup of tunes.

Fun show! Just got back from traveling, was very sleepy but it was a fun mix and has some guests talk about some stuff that went down July 29th here in Tucson and just a good vibe all around! Lemme know if you like it! :P
