Schmackie's Tea Party Is Now Schmackie's Trip Parade
It hurts my heart to think that visitors to this web site might take one look at the station schedule and think that this radio station is associated in any way, shape, or form with that group of ninnies who think Sarah Palin is the New Messiah and Glenn Beck is a cool dude.
Even though the show Schmackie's Tea Party preceded that political movement by several months, I have decided to change the name of the show to Schmackie's Trip Parade.
Same initials (STP), same great blend of indie-rock and psychedlia, same time (Saturdays from 4 to 6), and same dorky DJ serving up the news, views, and personal blues.
So turn on, tune in, and trip along with me on Saturday afternoons.

Tough call mi amigo, but I understand your concern. You should call it The Schmack Attack, y know, if you want. You realize people are gonna think you do LSD and listen to the Beatles now. Anyway, rock on.

Hmmm...Schmack Attack?? I like it. If another wacked-out political group starts calling itself the Trip Parade, I will consider it. BTW, you make it sound like taking LSD and listening to The Beatles is a bad thing. Well, I guess it wasn't such a great thing for Linda Kasabian (or Sharon Tate!), come to think of it.
