I recently had the pleasure of hosting Ryan and Dimitri from Golden
Boots on my show and getting to "world-premiere"
songs from their fantastic new album The Winter of Our Discotheque. 
Not only were the GB boys gracious guests, the album, which releases on
Park the Van records on the 27th of this month, blew me away! 
Every song
is good and the production value is top-notch.  It's one of the best
local releases I've ever heard and sounds like it would have fit right
in with the best of the Elephant 6 records.  The Winter of Our
Discotheque, with its indie country-folk psychedelicpop-rock sheen,
could very well put the band in the national spotlight.   Nice
work, GBs!
