grand tunes bring the sun closer. finally saw "ex-cowboy", a tucson local and was definitely not disappointed. some songs like the elliot smith songs that really get me goin' others like range rovin clearin the tumbleweeds from your chuckwagon. hope to see more of this guy for sure and play some when i get a disc on hand.

other great music in tucson lately has been, "into the rhine,"acoustic metal i saw fireside. rather beautiful, to be honest, i'm not usually moved by screaming music but their orchestrated delicateness served the scene very well, i was completely hypnotized for their entire set.

"g-string orchestra" also has produced desert splendor on their way through our town, becoming the best group i've seen rock the co-op thus far.

good week, although my co-pilot will be away for this show. i've a bit jazzed about finding a drum circle sundays 3-6 at himmel park. i quickly realized i haven't seen a hippie in awhile...refreshing like the canyons speaking softly of water and cholla tellin' me to not fuck with it.

honesty hour today...
prolly be hearin some sean hayes, cause that's mostly what i've been listenin to, also
de la soul
woody guthrie
common market
trampled by turtles
lipsey mountain string band
