Well, I'm certainly looking foreward to the 3rd installment of my radio show, The Difficult Listening Hour, and I hope you, mi fiel lector, are as well.  However, there are some possible problems I foresee.  I may have to pre-record the show - much as it pains me to, since I very much prefer the fresh, cool feeling that a fully live experience gives me on the air.

Pero, unfortunately, I may be in grave danger. Recent signs point to the distinct possibility that the  Veracao cartel may be hot on my tracks here in the trackless wastes of Southern Arizona.  Cuidado is the better part of valor, as they say, and it would seem prudent to lay even lower than I have been.  Which means I will most likely produce my program in advance, burn it to a compact disc, and have someone bring it in to the studio and press play for me - and then run like hell.  If the cartel is truly on to me, the studio may go up in blast of C4 plastic explosive, but only several thousands of dollars of audio equipment will be lost, rather than the life of yours truly.

And so it may be only appropriate that the them for this week's show is Technology. The technology to create, and to destroy.  I only hope you that enjoy it, and that the latter wins out over the former.
