Esteban Caliente is journalist, media personality, actor, and amateur sleuth who has lived and travelled around the the world. The son of a wealthy Australian uranium tycoon and a poor Bolivian coca farmer, Esteban grew up in several worlds at once, and has a personality to match.
Most famous for his on-again, off-again hit TV series, "Meditations on the World," a news and commentary program, Caliente also does investigative pieces for a variety of print and TV outlets. His most recent project was an expose about a secretive Amazonian drug cartel, who, after finding out about his story, had his editor assasinated and hired a group of computer hackers from Colombia to vadalize Caliente's website. Going underground for several months in the Sonoran desert is giving him some time to regroup, but he couldn't resist when programmers at Free Radio Chukhon offered him a coveted Friday afternoon drive-time slot on their new broadcast schedule.

absolute favorite: Silence. after that, I like babbling streams, the sound of ice melting, wind in aspen leaves, gunshots, and the sound that bicycle chains make when stuck between 2 gears.
Other noises that humans make which I fancy more than most are made by groups such as: The Tape-beatles, Atom Heart, Wobbly, Ears Under Siege, Stockhausen, Merzbow, Naked City, The Hafler Trio, Ultra Red, The Platform, and especially Bing Stingspreen.
