Got this shit up quick, dawg. OK. I been really digging downloading lots of heavy stuff and anarcho-punk stuff so yet another rockin' show of brutally conscious trax. International stuff from Japan, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, and others. Some of this stuff you can find on anarcho-punk.net so check it out. I'll probably lighten it up a little next week. We'll see. Not much in the mood for yapping so a good dose of music.

a little punky stuff to start us out, the on to some folky stuff to celebrate some upcoming shows and then it's the heavy duty brutal shit. A piece of an interview with Monkey from Pirate Cat Radio in SF, a little on the Olympics including the blockade of the torch which had to be put in a cop car and driven off. And some other stuff too.

Umm, Not the most original idea, but I think I picked some cool songs. And not all totally negative! Lots from "Mutant Disco" diva Cristina, Lydia Lunch, Throbbing Gristle (3rd week in a row!), plus a special track for 2/15's "Steal Something From Work Day". Plus an exclusive live track of Golden Boots at the previous night's benefit!

Ridiculous. I got all fouled up cuz my laptop didn't work how I thought it would. So I was playing catch up but I drilled out the brutal jams- a lot of them. Not much yapping at all because I was distracted getting the playlist together.

Sick show. Awesome jamz as usual. But we're also treated with a couple of in-studio guests from the Void Network, from Greece. They talked about some of what's been happening in Greece . Also I played a clip of Harsha Walia, one of the co-ordinators af the Anti-Olympics in Vancouver. She talked about the Black Bloc action there and in a way that it definitely relates across the board. News of the Day Of Action against tuition hikes and more.

This show featured an interview with Orin and Dave from Holy Rolling Empire, who were bound for South-by-Southwest.  I also got to "world-debut" three new songs that Holy Rolling Empire recently finished recording. Also, I went an hour longer than usual since Tornado Alley was out of town.

My I have been busy this week! 3 shows, whew! With this one, I celebrate the incredible double bill of Television Personalities and Golden Boots, together live in London! I alternate songs between the two bands, and it works out quite nicely. Two great bands that taste great together!

A Good show this week! New music from Pierced Arrows (ex-Dead Moon), an Alex Chilton memorial re-cap, some cool old New Wave from OMD and Gary Numan, lotsa noisy garage punk from The Pizzas, Cave, Okie Dokie and Oneida. Even Jandek.

This is the first FRC show with the new mixer.  There's a weird, staticy effect on the mic, which didn't bother me at all.  But I think you could hear the porn videos popping up from Skank, our virus-infected computer during my show.  I hate viruses.  Shame on all you virus-starters.

Been totally slacking(out of town the last few weekends plotting the Rev) but here's the 5-21 show. All Hip-Hop, suckas! I have no recollection of what I talked about and don't want to listen so just check it out. The playlist is posted.

Sad Max flies solo and barely holds it together, but is assisted by his guest, a high-school organizer from the Tucson area involved in this spring's mobilizations against 1070 and the ethnic studies ban. Then Swamp Thing emerges from the muck to provide right and tight analysis of the recent Chinese strike wave and currency revaluation.

Playing fight songs for the rally against SB1070, and enlightening the downtrodden way better than Bob Avakian ever could by explaining the contemporary american class landscape through the classic Coen Bros. film, The Big Lebowski.

Yeah, I'm back on track and started with a nice brutal attack with a bunch crustpunk, etc. Began the show with a selection dedicated to the end of the world, followed by a good dose of anti-religion. Unfortunately the stupid thing didn't start archive til about half-way through the show. Also talked about a bunch of news, some good some bad. It's good to be back.

Wow, I pretty much nailed this one with a couple minor difficulties-like the beginning. Otherwise a groovy little mix. Plus news on killer cops, police station attacked in Mexico, the public hearing on prison privatization in Tucson, private prison industry's hand in shaping SB 1070, don't vote, Border Opposition Action Fund, & more or less. And I went overtime tonight.

Mixed up the jams on this one. Bringin the hip-hop, the rawk and other assorted hot traxx. Pretty awesome. Talked about some random stuff but kept the talk to a minimum this week.

Okay, look.  All the songs I played on this show had some kind of reference to spookiness in the title, but the show is not overtly Halloween-ish.  If I didn't tell you this was a Halloween show, I'll bet you wouldn't even know.  So there!

Bringing the brutality in honor of Saturday's anti-nazi bloc. Some news as usual. Didn't get the list up yet but this is a good one.

A lot of spanish punk & rock this week. Guests DSM-5 from Valencia, Spain join us in the studio for a little chitting and chatting. Student uprisings in Europe, reportback from anti-nazi rally in Phx. & more on white supremacy and fascism. And more.

Was not feelin' it too much this week but laid out some jams fo sho. Shortened it to 1 1/2 hours due to something I wanted to go do. A variety of rock type stuff like Vandals, Agent Orange, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Mischief Brew, etc. News on bad cops(especially Canadians this week), hi tech insecurity, & whatever else.

This show featured an inteview with Mostly Bears' Brian Lopez.  For some reason, only the first 48 minutes recorded.

This show featured an interview with Black Sun Ensemble's Jesus Acedo, who discusses his arrest for stalking and the subsequent police brutatlity which put him in a month-long coma.

Another show chocked full of the brutal stuff! And great news from around the world, student uprising in UK, austerity protests in Greece, riots in Italy, and more. I'll try to get the playlist up soon.
