Wow! What fun I had celebrating May Day on my show. Songs about work and workers. May Day audio greetings from Jaan Laaman, a political prisoner recently moved to Fed. prison here in Tucson. And an interview about May Day with Howard Zinn by Gabe S. Both of those pieces I just found out about, so I am honored to be able to play them on my show. Happy May Day! Happy Beltane!

Got this shit up quick, dawg. OK. I been really digging downloading lots of heavy stuff and anarcho-punk stuff so yet another rockin' show of brutally conscious trax. International stuff from Japan, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, and others. Some of this stuff you can find on anarcho-punk.net so check it out. I'll probably lighten it up a little next week. We'll see. Not much in the mood for yapping so a good dose of music.

After two weeks of the heavy, I once again lightened up a bit. Ended up with lot's of ladies in this week's lineup. Party on!

Woo. Light but filling stuff this week. A couple of youngsters, though I managed to foul up the first song, Fin, by Telma a young lady from France. Also a little about Malcolm X in honor of Black History Month. A lot from no2010.com, a website with info and updates about how fucked up the olympics is, especially the upcoming Vancouver episode. A few other news bits. Also music of some folks playing in Tucson this upcoming week, including FRC benefit show, Mark Gunnery and locals, Salvador Duran, and Chicago Underground Duo @ Solar Culture.

Ridiculous. I got all fouled up cuz my laptop didn't work how I thought it would. So I was playing catch up but I drilled out the brutal jams- a lot of them. Not much yapping at all because I was distracted getting the playlist together.

A few hip-hop trax to get us rollin' and then on to the heavy, including some Israeli punk and hardcore and a block of Tucson jamz- too bad 3 of the 4 don't exist anymore. I don't remember what I talked about but I did mention a few newsy items.

Started out with a big mix of stuff, ended mostly with the heavy. Had to, I was pissed after reading about the Fascist raids in South Tucson by the pigs(read Karga Fantasma's Blog). Some general ranting as well this week. Fuck borders.

On this day I must stake my claim to coining the phrase "Nazi-Zona" in honor of the signing of SB 1070. Played a lot of good ol' punk rock and stuff tonight.
